Finally Out of the Pokeball by Lyrin-83 Finally Out of the Pokeball by Lyrin-83

Lacking updates, I know!
I had already built chimchar, piplup and the pokeball, but I waited to take a pic because I wanted turtwig in it too. Laziness won, and I postponed its building. But I finally bought a new camera today, and I wanted to try it! Plus, I'm going to leave on the 10th, so I wanted to have an excuse to say g'bye to you all! I'll be back on the 26th, and I hope with a remarkable tan and some good pics taken with my new camera (:w00t:)!

Until then, see ya! :D

EDIT: Forgot to mention: piplup and chimchar are Chokipeta models, google them and you'll find them for sure. The pokeball box is from our Paperpokés website, and you can download it here: [link] (Designed by ~P-M-F)

Can't spoil anything bec our plans are supersecret (we like to surprise our blogreaders! :meow:), but, you know... September will be the month in which poke black/white will be released in Japan............. ;P

well chimchar "escaped" from his pokeball and Ash saw him and tried to put him back in. Chimchar saw Ash, screamed "FREEDOM", pulled out a cigar, and ran.And know that i know it will be released for your birthday, i shall make it, and post pictures. WARNING: it probably will suck though, hopefully not

Which size poke'ball is that one?, i made the smallest one and I'm working on the second smallest right now. I'm just wondering because the one i have none of my pokemon papercrafts fit inside

It's the smallest one. Chimchar and Piplup fit in becaue I've resized their templates and made them smaller. They're 6-7 cm tall, if I remember correctly (I'm not @ home, so I'm guessing ;P)!

Yup, this pokeball is really detailed, and it took me forever to do both the inside and the outside of it! PMF did a great job with this pokeball design, and consider that it even closes perfectly!

Btw, thanks! :D

Papercraft amazes me so much. You turned something two-dimensional into something spherical. That's just awesome.

Are they fragile? They look sturdy and armoured.

They aren't fragile because I use 160gsm paper, which is double the weight of normal printer paper. So they're quite resistant, provided that you don't smash them with a book, or your cat doesn't decide to munch away at them (the latter one already happened to me)! :D

It's a great wallpaper. A great 35x50 cm binder turned inside out to use its cover design as a background, to be more precise! :D No photoshop involved this time!

Thanks, btw! :glomp:

And thank you!

Yay indeed! I'm already in love with this tiny, black object! :D Finally no more fuzzy indoor shots, no more blurry people shots (my old camera hated people and refused to correctly take pictures of them! ;P)! It's just that I want to learn how to manually tell the little wonderbox here the shutter speed... It does great auto shots, but I have the feeling I'm not entirely controlling what's happening! :D

So you return on the 10th? I'm leaving in the afternoon, maybe we'll catch online briefly before I go. No internet over there, and my parents' friend is a cheapsake, and never lends me his internet key... :/
