I've made a friend for Lisca. He's a bear, and his name is Frappè (milkshake), because he loves sweets!
My second attempt at DAS modelling. Hand made and hand painted. :D
And yes, that thing he's holding is supposed to be an ice cream!

What do you think? I need feedback... And tips on how to work with DAS too!
Lisca's height is 3,5 cm., and Frappè should be around 3 cm.

How is DAS different from regular clay? Do you have Sculpey in Italy?

In its composition, I suppose. I never investigated it. But I remember that clay was way simpler to model, and parts to attach (I had a basic clay modelling training back at high school. REALLY basic, alas!). When I make differents parts with DAS (say, a head and a torso), they simply don't want to stick together... ;___; :disbelief: I need to wet the connection spots A LOT, and just hope it will stick. Not always happens, though! :nirvana:
I don't really know what sculpey is, we don't have it, but I guess it should be similar to cernit. They are coloured materials that you model and then bake to make them harden. Is sculpey like so?
